THE EAGLE BAY FORMATION ON MT. MCCLENNAN CONSISTS OF DEFORMED METASEDIMENTARY AND METAVOLCANIC STRATA. THE PACKAGE INCLUDES A THICK UNIT OF PYRITIZED QUARTZ-SERICITE SCHIST WHICH CONTAINS INTERCALATED LENSES OF MASSIVE SULPHIDE. SOME OF THE LENSES CONTAIN APPRECIABLE AMOUNTS OF SILVER, LEAD AND ZINC.
