GOLD OCCURRENCES ARE PRESENT ON THE PROPERTY, HOSTED BY LIMY AND SILICEOUS SEDIMENTARY ROCKS OF THE (TRIASSIC) NICOLA GROUP WHICH HAVE BEEN INTRUDED BY (JURASSIC TO CRETACEOUS) GABBRO TO GRANODIORITE SILLS, DYKES AND STOCKS. MINERALIZA- TION OCCURS IN STRUCTURES, MOSTLY FOLDS, WITHIN SKARN ZONES IN THE VICINITY OF THE INTRUSIONS. GOLD MINERALIZATION IS GENERALLY ACCOMPANIED BY ARSENOPYRITE OR PYRRHOTITE AND CHALCOPYRITE. ZONES OF ANOMALOUS GOLD, ARSENIC AND COPPER VALUES ARE PRESENT IN THE EASTERN GRID AREA AROUND THE HORSE- FLY AND TERRIER CLAIMS, AND IN THE GOOD HOPE AND CANTY MINES AREAS.
