UPPER TRIASSIC NICOLA GROUP VOLCANICS AND SEDI- MENTS ARE INTENSELY CARBONATE-ALTERED OVER ZONES OF UP TO 2500 SQUARE METRES ON THE PROPERTY. IT APPEARS THAT THE ALTERATION ZONES ARE RELATED TO ELONGATE QUARTZ PORPHYRY INTRUSIONS OF POSSIBLE EARLY TERTIARY AGE. THE INTRUSIVE ROCKS ARE LOCALLY KAOLINIZED, AND CONTAIN UP TO 3% PYRITE AND ANOMALOUS ARSENIC VALUES. NO GOLD HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED ON THE PROPERTY TO DATE, BUT GOLD IS KNOWN TO ACCOMPANY SIMILAR ARSENICAL ROCK 5 KM TO THE NORTH.
