Geological Summary |
ABUNDANT FLOAT CARRYING GALENA WAS FOUND IN 1929 NEAR THE HEADWATERS OF URMSTON CREEK. THE HOST ROCKS APPEAR TO BE ALDRIDGE FORMATION MICACEOUS QUARTZITES AND MUSCOVITE-BIOTITE PHYLLITE, WHOSE BEDDING STRIKES NORTH-NORTHWEST, DIPPING 20 DEGREES EASTERLY. SOURCE OF THE MINERALIZATION HAS NOT BEEN LOCATED.
