Geological Summary
EARLY TO MIDDLE JURASSIC TOODOGGONE VOLCANICS ON THE GOLDEN NEIGHBOUR 1-3, CONSIST OF DACITE, ANDESITE AND QUARTZ FELDSPAR PORPHYRIES. THESE ROCKS ARE STRONGLY KAOLINIZED AND LOCALLY SERI- CITIZED, ESPECIALLY WITHIN AREAS OF FAULTING AND QUARTZ VEINING. PYRITE IS UBIQUITOUS WITHIN THE AREA AND IS REFLECTED BY A PROMINANT GOSSAN. SOIL SAMPLING WITHIN THE GOSSAN RETURNED ANOMALOUS GOLD VALUES OVER A 1500 METRE X 300 METRE AREA. GEO- PHYSICAL RESULTS INDICATE A VLF-ELECTROMAGNETIC AND MAGNETIC ANOMALY COINCIDENT WITH THE SOIL ANOMALY.
