Geological Summary |
COPPER-GOLD MINERALIZATION IS PARTLY ASSOCIATED WITH NORTHERLY TRENDING VEINS AND LENSES OF SPECULARITE, MAGNETITE, CHALCOPYRITE AND PYRITE NEAR THE CONTACT BETWEEN ALKALIC INTRUSIONS AND THE UPPER TRIASSIC STUHINI GROUP. ERYTHRITE IS ALSO LOCALLY PRESENT. ANOMALOUS SILVER, COPPER, ZINC, ARSENIC AND LOCALLY GOLD VALUES FROM A 1985 SOIL SURVEY ARE PRESENT IN THE VICINITY OF A BRIGHT ORANGE WEATHERING CARBONATE ALTERED ZONE OF HATCHAU LAKE.
