EPITHERMAL GOLD AND SILVER MINERALIZATION OCCURS IN NORTH-TRENDING ZONES OF REPEATED SILICIFICATION AND BRECCIATION. HOST ROCKS CONSIST OF FLAT-LYING EOCENE OOTSA LAKE GROUP FELSIC FLOWS, TUFFS AND SUBVOLCANIC PLUGS. EPICLASTIC SEDIMENTS WERE DISCOVERED IN DRILLING BUT DO NOT FORM OUTCROPS.
