AN UPPER TRIASSIC AGE BLACK PHYLLITE SEQUENCE HOSTS A STRATABOUND ZONE 6.1 METRES TO 8.08 METRES WIDE OF LOW-GRADE GOLD MINERALIZATION. THE ZONE, WHICH HAS BEEN TRACED FOR 550 METERS, OCCURS NEAR THE TOP OF A SEQUENCE CHARACTERIZED BY THE PRESENCE OF CALCAREOUS PHYLLITE AND ARGILLACEOUS LIMESTONE INTERBEDS.
