LOWER JURASSIC AGE BONANZA VOLCANICS, LARGLEY ANDESITIC PYROCLASTICS, ARE STRONGLY CLAY ALTERED WITH DISPLACED SILICA BEING DEPOSITED AS A CAP GEOCHEMICALLY ANOMALOUS GOLD AND ARSENIC VALUES IN SURFACE ROCKS WERE THOUGHT TO OVERLIE A POTENTIAL ORE ZONE. NO ECONOMIC MINERAL CONCENTRA- TIONS WERE FOUND.
