THE HANNA CLAIM IS UNDERLAIN BY BASALTS OF THE MISSISSIPPIAN SYLVESTER GROUP. STEEP EAST NORTH- EAST FRACTURES CUT THE VOLCANICS AND CONTROL QUARTZ VEINS IN THE AREA. THE VEINS ARE COMMONLY GOLD-BEARING AND CONTAIN PYRITE, SPHALERITE, TETRAHEDRITE AND ARSENOPYRITE. THE WALLROCK CONTAINS ANKERITE ALTERATION.
