SEDIMENTARY ROCKS ARE GENERALLY ARGILLITES AND BLACK SHALES AND SLATES, IN SOME AREAS SHEARED AND CONVERTED TO GRAPHITIC AND SERICITIC SCHIST. MINERALIZED QUARTZ VEINS OCCUR WITHIN BOTH THE SEDIMENTARY ROCKS AS WELL AS THE INTRUSIVES.
