THE CLAIM AREA IS UNDERLAIN BY VOLCANIC ROCKS OF THE (CRETACEOUS AND/OR TERTIARY) OOTSA GROUP. HOW- EVER, NO OUTCROP HAS BEEN FOUND ON THE CLAIM IT- SELF. FLOAT PRESENT CONSISTS OF VOLCANIC BRECCIA, QUARTZ-EYE DACITE, TUFF AND METASEDIMENTARY ROCKS. EXCAVATION TO BEDROCK IN ONE TRENCH EXPOSED RHYO- DACITE BRECCIA. A SAMPLE OF THIS ROCK RETURNED A VALUE OF 0.8 GRAMS/TONNE SILVER. SOIL SAMPLES FROM THE TRENCHES CONTAINED ANOMALOUS VALUES FOR ZINC AND LOCAL SILVER AND GOLD ANOMALIES.
