THE CLAIMS COVER A PORTION OF THE CLOWHOM PENDANT OF THE CRETACEOUS GAMBIER GROUP VOLCANIC AND SEDIMENTARY ROCKS WITHIN THE COAST PLUTONIC COMPLEX. THE VOLCANIC-SEDIMENTARY ROCKS LIE IN FAIRLY UNIFORM, NORTHERLY TRENDING, STEEP WESTERLY DIPPING BEDS CUT BY STEEP FAULTS. A SILICEOUS, ALTERED FELSIC UNIT EXTENDING ALONG THE WEST SIDE OF THE PENDANT HOSTS PRECIOUS AND BASE METAL MINERALIZATION IN VEINS AND AS DISSEMINATIONS. VALUES TO 1800 PPB GOLD AND 39 PPM SILVER WERE DETECTED IN SAMPLES.
