THE CLAIMS ARE UNDERLAIN BY FOLDED, FAULTED AND METAMORPHOSED SEDIMENTARY AND INTERMEDIATE VOLCANIC ROCKS OF THE PALEOZOIC AGE EAGLE BAY FORMATION. DISSEMINATED CHALCOPYRITE, PYRITE, PYRRHOTITE AND MINOR MAGNETITE OCCUR IN ANDESITES AND ALTERED ARGILLITES. AN OVERTURNED ANTICLINE WITH SOUTHERLY DIPPING LIMBS IS CONJECTURED. TWO DISCRETE PULSE ELECTROMAGNETIC CONDUCTORS WERE IDENTIFIED FROM THE SURVEY.
