THE PROPERTY IS UNDERLAIN BY PROTEROZOIC QUARTZ- ITES, WACKES, SILTSTONES AND MUDSTONES OF THE MIDDLE ALDRIDGE FORMATION. A NORTH-SOUTH ANTICLINE PLUNGING TO THE NORTH CROSSES THE CENTRAL PORTION OF THE CLAIM GROUP(S). BEDS DIP SHALLOWLY TO THE NORTHWEST OR THE NORTHEAST DEPENDING ON WHICH LIMB OF THE FOLD THEY ARE ON. A THICK INTRAFORMATIONAL CONGLOMERATE REPRESENTING THE BASE OF A SUB-BASIN IS ENRICHED WITH STRATIFORM IRON SULPHIDES IN THE FORM OF NUMEROUS PYRRHOTITE LAMINATIONS AND DISSEMINATIONS. THIS INTERVAL MAY REPRESENT THE DISTAL PART OF A STRATIFORM IRON-SULPHIDE APRON ASSOCIATED WITH A SULLIVAN TYPE ORE BODY.
