THE CLAIMS STRADDLE THE PINCHI FAULT, A NORTH NORTHWEST STRIKING STRUCTURE WHICH JUXTAPOSES PERMIAN-PENNSYLVANIAN CACHE CREEK GROUP SEDIMENT- ARY ROCKS ON THE WEST AND UPPER TRIASSIC TAKLA GROUP VOLCANO-SEDIMENTARY ROCKS ON THE EAST. ULTRAMAFIC ROCKS COMMONLY OCCUR WITHIN THE FAULT ZONE. THE DRILLING INTERSECTED STRUCTURALLY CONTROLLED SERPENTINITE WITHIN THE PINCHI FAULT SEPARATING TAKLA GROUP GREYWACKES TO THE EAST FROM CACHE CREEK GROUP CARBONATES AND CHERT TO THE WEST. LOW GOLD AND ARSENIC VALUES WERE OBTAINED FROM DRILL CUTTINGS ANALYSES.
