Geological Summary
THE CLAIMS ARE UNDERLAIN BY LATE PROTEROZOIC TO CAMBRIAN ARGILLITE, ARGILLACEOUS QUARTZITE AND LIMESTONE THAT HAVE BEEN FOLDED INTO TWO TIGHT NORTHERLY-TRENDING ANTICLINES WITH AN INTERVENING SYNCLINE. GOLD-QUARTZ VEINS WITH MINOR SULPHIDES OCCUR IN NORTHEASTERLY-TRENDING FAULTS WHERE THEY INTERSECT CERTAIN STRATIGRAPHIC UNITS (NOTABLY UPPER NAVADA AND UPPER NUGGET QUARTZITE). THE SOIL SURVEY RETURNED ANOMALOUS GOLD VALUES.
