THE CLAIMS COVER A NORTHWEST TRENDING, STEEPLY DIPPING ALTERATION ZONE WITHIN JURASSIC YAKOUN FORMATION VOLCANICLASTICS. FELDSPAR PORPHYRY DYKES SEEN WITHIN THE YAKOUN FORMATION MAY BE TERTIARY MASSET FORMATION ROCKS. ROCK ALTERATION IS PRINCIPALLY CLAY-SERICITE-LIMONITE WITH MINOR QUARTZ VEINING. MINERALIZATION, WHICH IS GENERALLY ASSOCIATED WITH QUARTZ VEINING AND/OR CLAY ALTERATION IS GOLD, STIBNITE, ARSENOPYRITE AND PYRITE. THE ALTERATION AND MINERALIZATION IS THOUGHT TO BE AN EPITHERMAL SYSTEM RELATED TO THE FELDSPAR PORPHYRY DYKES. GEOCHEMICAL AND GEOPHYSICAL SURVEYS RETURNED ANOMALOUS RESULTS.
