THE CLAIMS ARE UNDERLAIN BY PERMO-TRIASSIC CHERT, ARGILLITE, LIMESTONE AND BASALT OF THE BRIDGE RIVER GROUP, UPPER CRETACEOUS ANDESITE, CONGLOMER- ATE, GREYWACKE AND ARGILLITE OF THE KINGSVALE GROUP, AND DIORITE, PERIDOTITE, SERPENTINITE AND LISTWANITE OF THE UPPER TRIASSIC PRESIDENT INTRUSIONS. MINERALIZATION CONSISTS OF TWO PARA- LELL QUARTZ VEINS RUNNING UP TO TWO METRES WIDE, TRENDING NORTHWESTERLY FOR MORE THAN 200 METRES MINOR DISSEMINATED PYRITE AND RARE CHALCOPYRITE ARE FOUND IN THE VEINS AND WALLROCK. ANOMALOUS GEOPHYSICAL AND GEOCHEMICAL RESULTS WERE OBTAINED FROM THE SURVEYS.
