Geological Summary
The claims are underlain by Upper Triassic intermediate to mafic submarine volcanic rocks with variable amounts of interbedded calcareous argillites and Early to Middle Paleozoic clastics and carbonates. Mineralization consists of auriferous finely bonded layers of pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite and pyrite occurring in black, calcareous argillite. The exploration surveys resulted in extension of known mineralization and the location of numerous sulphide occurrences.
