Geological Summary
The claims are underlain by schists, phyllites and greenstones derived from sedimentary and volcanic rocks of the Devonian- Mississippian Eagle Bay Formation. They are tightly folded along northeast trending axes. Slaty cleavage is superimposed along and across bedding planes. At least one north-south fault is identified. Known mineralization is confined to disseminated pyrite in greenstone and schist. Geophysical survey results identified four HLEM conductors.
