Geological Summary
The claims are underlain by a sequence of maroon coloured Lower Jurassic Hazelton Group pyroclastics and sediments. A strongly silicified stratabound zone, 20 metres wide and over 300 metres long, dipping steeply to the northeast, occurs within this sequence. Within this zone weak copper-silver mineralization occurs as disseminations and irregular microvein fillings of chalcopyrite and tetrahedrite. Sphalerite, bornite, galena and barite also occur.
