Geological Summary
The claims are underlain by volcanic and associated sedimentary units of the Devonian-Mississippian Eagle Bay Formation. Two significant types of mineralization have been found to date: structurally controlled base metal sulphides replacing limestone or limy sediments and stratabound pyrrhotite-pyrite-chalcopyrite hosted in a quartz-sericite schist unit.
