Geological Summary
Two detailed grids were established over Triassic Takla andesitic volcanics and Triassic-Jurassic Hogem granodioritic intrusive. Minor carbonatized shear zones contain small amounts of chalcopyrite-pyrite with anomalous values of gold in soil on the North Slope grid. The North Slope east grid geochemical anomalies in gold can be explained by a possible fault zone paleo-stream channel or as a result of poor soil development.
