Geological Summary

The claims are underlain by metavolcanic rocks of the Upper Triassic Karmutsen Formation and by Quatsino Formation limestone and Lower Jurassic Bonanza Group volcanics. Numerous Jurassic intrusions outcrop on the property. Fresher-looking intrusions may possibly be of Tertiary age. Spotty skarns occur at limestone contacts and narrow quartz veins occur in shear zones.
