Geological Summary
The claims are underlain by Miocene basalt within which a window of Triassic picrite and Upper Triassic Nicola Group greenstone is exposed. These older rocks are cut by felsic porphyritic dykes which are the loci for quartz stockwork carrying disseminated pyrite, minor chalcopyrite and trace galena; gold values are associated with the quartz stockwork mineralization.
