The property is underlain by shelf clastics and carbonates of the Barkerville terrane. They have been metamorphosed to greenschist facies, and highly deformed. Gold mineralization in the Cariboo occurs in two different settings: 1) replacement in carbonates 2) gold in quartz veins. The property has potential for both types.
