The property is underlain by the Permo-Triassic Bridge River Group. Locally, the rocks predominantly consist of argillites and argillaceous-calcareous phyllites. The argillite units are intensely sheared with tight recumbent folds. Auriferous bearing quartz-shear zones are hosted in argillites.
