Geological Summary
Gold mineralization is associated with quartz and sulphides within a broad graphitic shear zone; and also with quartz veining in a succession of Upper Triassic dark sedimentary clastics, and phyllite. Alteration halos, similar to "ash fall tuffs", accompany some of the quartz veining within the sedimentary-volcanic sequence.
