Geological Summary
Much of the claims are drift-covered with bedrock exposures restricted to the northern and western portions. Tertiary Goosly Lake andesitic volcanics are generally flat lying and unaltered. Cretaceous Tip Top Hill andesitic lavas and breccias are exposed along Klo Creek and underlie the majority of the drift covered area. Tip Top Hill volcanics display widespread chlorite and hematite alteration and locally clay-sericite alteration. Disseminated pyrite is sporadic and magnetite is abundant.
