Geological Summary
A Late Cretaceous Rocher Deboule porphyritic granodiorite stock intrudes argillites and greywackes of the Lower Cretaceous Bowser Lake Group. Shear controlled quartz-carbonate veins occur in sediments adjacent to and related to the stock. Shears strike north 50 to 60 degrees east and dip 45 to 60 degrees northwest. Galena, sphalerite, pyrite, tetrahedrite and chalcopyrite occur as trace to near massive amounts in the veins.
