Geological Summary
Rocks of the Lower Jurassic Unuk River Formation consisting of volcanic breccia, conglomerate, sandstone and siltstone are exposed in the northern half of the property. These are in fault contact to the south with Middle Jurassic Salmon River Formation siltstone, greywacke and sandstone. Lead-zinc mineralization in the form of coarse to fine-grained galena and sphalerite occurs in both schists and quartz veins in altered volcanics. Gold and silver values are associated with base metal mineralization.
