Geological Summary
The claims are underlain by mafic to andesitic volcanic flows and tuffs with minor felsic flows and felsic tuffs of the Upper Devonian Myra Formation. The Myra Formation rocks are crosscut by Saltspring Intrusive dykes and displaced by mafic sills. The rocks have been subjected to lower greenschist metamorphism. The strike is at about 110 degrees. The mafic rocks host up to 20 per cent pyrite and trace chalcopyrite locally with up to 3718 ppm copper over 1.0 metres encountered in the drill holes.
