Geological Summary |
Upper Triassic limestone and shale (Quatsino Formation) are overlain by Triassic and/or Jurassic tuff, andesitic volcanic breccia and lava which are intruded by Jurassic and/or Cretaceous granodiorite. Magnetite-rich skarns have developed in limestone with associated cobalt and gold values.
