Geological Summary
The area is underlain by Upper Cretaceous volcanics of the Kingsvale Group which has been intruded by small plugs and dyke swarms of feldspar porphyry. Zones of silicification and clay alteration are common surrounding the intrusive rocks. Disseminated pyrite up to three per cent is present within the alteration zones.
