Geological Summary
The rocks of the Bearcub property are thought to be of Proterozoic and Paleozoic age. The main feature is a pegmatite which outcrops in an area 1.5 by 0.75 kilometres. The pegmatite is white and is medium-coarse grained. It consists typically of about 70 per cent feldspar, 25 per cent quartz, and 5 per cent miscellaneous minerals, chiefly biotite and/or muscovite.
