Geological Summary
The claims are underlain by intermediate to felsic volcanic rocks of the Eocene Ootsa Lake Group. Multi-stage explosion breccias are developed within andesites and trachytes. Silicification of breccias is characterized by banded chalcedonic filling of voids. Mineralization is associated with silicification.
