Geological Summary
A silicified, highly carbonatized and hematized breccia zone occurs within Upper Triassic Karmutsen Formation basalts near the unconformable contact with overlying Upper Cretaceous Nanaimo Group clastic sediments. The breccia zone is approximately 102 by 18 metres in size. The following minerals have been reported in the breccia: chalcopyrite, bornite, tetrahedrite and chalcocite.
