Geological Summary

The Precisely property is located in a window of Miocene basalts and is underlain by Upper Triassic Nicola Group volcanics which are intruded by granodiorite and hornblende diorite. The volcanics are a bedded sequence of fine to medium grained andesitic to siliceous tuffs and augite porphyry flows. There is minor brecciated and silicified argillite. Weak, propylitic alteration is widespread. Disseminated pyrite is common with rare veinlets and massive mineralization over a few centimetres.
