Geological Summary
The Tliti claims are underlain by Upper Triassic-Lower Jurassic Sitlika assemblage volcanic and sedimentary rocks. The volcanics include felsic to mafic flows, tuffs, lapilli tuff and schists containing 2-10 per cent disseminated pyrite. The sediments consist of dark grey to black, weakly graphitic argillites which trend north and dip steeply to the east.
