Geological Summary
The area is underlain by Upper Triassis-Lower Jurassic Takla Group volcanics and sediments intruded by a series of Upper Triassic- Lower Cretaceous stocks and batholiths. Gold mineralization is hosted in shear and fracture zones within strongly hornfelsed siltstone/tuff, andesite and hornblende-augite porphyry units.
