Geological Summary
The Sediment-Sill Unit of the Paleozoic Sicker Group largely underlies the claim. An altered intrusive unit (Jurassic?) is exposed in the northwest portion of the claim. Chloritic schists intruded by diabase dykes, contain jasper horizons and a quartz vein which are conformable to the northwest trending schistosity. Pyrite and copper mineralization occur in the quartz vein and jasper horizons are locally associated with gold and silver. A regional fault passes through the claim along the uppermost Rheinhart Creek.
