Geological Summary |
Steeply dipping, northwest trending Upper Triassic Nicola Group volcanics and sediments are partly covered by Miocene olivine basalts. Narrow northwest shears host clay altered quartz-carbonate breccias which are known to carry cinnabar and stibnite mineralization. The area represents a favourable environment for epithermal type gold-silver mineralization.
