Geological Summary
Predominantly underlain by the Triassic Eholt Formation of the Brooklyn Group consisting of greenstone, fragmental greenstone, argillite, chert and a basement complex of Carboniferous Knob Hill Formation meta-cherts and mica schists. Cretaceous serpentine- listwanite intrusives occur centrally. Varidirectional normal and thrust faults strike generally northwesterly with northerly dips. Skarn mineralization of gold-bearing sulphides hosted by northerly trending veins are up to 2.5 metres wide.
