Geological Summary |
Volcano-sediments of Permian age are intruded by felsic rocks of the Upper Cretaceous Coast Plutonic Complex and occur as folded and faulted roof pendant structures. Three types of mineralization are present; actinolite-epidote-garnet skarns with copper, lead and zinc, quartz stockwork in the intrusives with pyrite and chalcopyrite, and quartz breccia zones associated with epidote-quartz-garnet skarns containing copper, lead, zinc, gold and silver.
