Geological Summary
A thrust fault is the contact between Eagle Bay sediments and Fennel Formation volcanics. In a broad area east of the contact the soil is anomalous in gold, arsenic, copper, silver, lead, zinc. Massive galena with values in gold, silver, antimony and zinc occurs in a quartz vein. Silicification and pyrite are present in a large zone.
