Geological Summary
The property is underlain by Devono-Mississippian rocks of the Eagle Bay Formation. Lithologies consist of mafic volcanics overlain by graphitic argillites and wackes. Cherts are abundant at the contact. Weak sulphide mineralization at this horizon is interpreted to be equivalent to that at the Rea Gold deposit 3 kilometres to the northwest. The stratigraphy is folded into southwesterly overturned folds that are thrusted along axial planes.
