Geological Summary |
The property is underlain by Lower Cretaceous metavolcanic/ sedimentary rocks of the Britannia pendant, one of many volcano- sedimentary belts within the Upper Cretaceous Coast Plutonic Complex. The Slumach gold bearing quartz-sulphide veins are narrow, steeply dipping and fault controlled. The host is an andesite unit extensively altered to biotite-cordierite hornfels.
