Geological Summary
Permo-Pennsylvanian volcanic rocks of the Cache Creek Group are in fault contact with ultramafic rocks of the Permian Atlin Intrusions. The faulted contact is the site of hydrothermal alteration (silicification and carbonatization) of the volcanics and ultramafics. Locally good gold values are hosted by quartz veins adjacent to the contact.
