Geological Summary
The claims are underlain by southwest dipping felsic to intermediate volcanic, volcaniclastic and sedimentary rocks belonging to the Devono-Mississippian Eagle Bay Formation. Sericite and chlorite alteration along with silica flooding are associated with sulphide mineralization. Sphalerite and galena occur mainly as disseminations and occasionally as massive pods associated with pyrite and pyrrhotite.
